Massachusetts Crashes Dropped 33% Since Start Of COVID Pandemic

BOSTON (CBS) – Crashes on Massachusetts roads have gone down since the coronavirus pandemic began.

According to a new study by Inrix Transportation, Boston ranked sixth in the nation for seeing the biggest reduction in collisions since last year. Crashes are down 33%.

The road that sees the most collisions is interstate 95, but even those are down by 28%.

The study also found the riskiest spot on the roads is the I-495 and I-93 interchange.
