EAST BRIDGEWATER (CBS) — An East Bridgewater tree farm was slammed with customers on Black Friday. A long line of cars filled with families eager to get their Christmas trees was looped around the property of Mistletoe Acres Tree Farm.

“This is probably three to four times the business that we do on a Black Friday,” said co-owner Megan Krugger. “I think a lot of the tree farms are closed in the area so we’ve been picking up where people can’t go get their trees and the volume is just insane.”

The farm opened Friday with new coronavirus safety protocol in place, including a mask mandate for everyone on the property.

“It’s been great, it seems like everyone’s in the festive, holiday spirit here,” Cruger added.
