King Richard's Faire 2020 Season Canceled
CARVER (CBS) -- The New England Renaissance Festival has been canceled. King Richard's Faire won't open for the 2020 season due to coronavirus concerns.
"While ours is a land of make believe, there is no doubt that COVID-19 and its impacts are very real. Our main focus is to protect all of our customers and those that help us bring the magic and merriment into our Faire," the festival's cancellation notice said.
They plan to open on September 4, 2021.
