Stoneham Police Rescue Woman From House Fire

STONEHAM (CBS) -- Stoneham police came to the rescue of a woman trying to escape from her burning home Saturday.

Firefighters said they found her on the roof of her Flint Avenue home after she was able to climb out of a second-floor window. She jumped from the roof and was caught by two police officers.

The woman was unharmed and no injuries were reported. The family of six who lives in the home are staying with friends and family.
