9-Year-Old Suffers Head Injury After Being Hit By Car
LOWELL (CBS) - A 9-year-old boy was hospitalized Saturday afternoon after he was hit by a car on West Third Street.
The child was riding his bike when the accident occurred. Police said the boy has a head injury but is in stable condition and the injuries are not life-threatening.
According to two witnesses, the child biked onto the street and into a vehicle traveling down the street.
The driver remained on the scene. There have been no arrests or citations issued.
