Zdeno Chara Expected To Miss 4-6 Weeks With Knee Injury

BOSTON (CBS) – The Bruins are expected to be without Zdeno Chara for a lengthy period of time.

The Bruins captain will miss at least four weeks after injuring his left knee Wednesday against the Avalanche.

The news was first reported Friday night by The Athletic. The Bruins said Saturday Chara has an MCL injury and will be re-evaluated in four weeks.

Patrice Bergeron is being evaluated in Boston after he suffered an upper body injury Friday night, the team announced.

Boston travels to play the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday.
