Racial Slurs Found Written On Rocks Behind Wakefield Elementary School

WAKEFIELD (CBS) – Police are investigating after two racial slurs were found written behind a Wakefield elementary school.

The graffiti was found on two rocks behind Greenwood Elementary School on Thursday. Police said it appear to have been a random act.

Police have opened a "very active" investigation into the incident. Patrols were also increased in the area.

The racial slurs have since been removed from the rocks.
