'Not A Golf Cart!': Police Stop Driver On Country Club Fairway

LEICESTER (CBS) – This driver definitely didn't belong on the fairway.

Leicester police shared a photo of a car stopped on the third hole of the Hillcrest Country Club Tuesday night.

The driver told police he thought he was in a field and had planned to take photos. He claimed to have no idea he was actually on a golf course.

No charges have been filed and police say there was no damage to the course.
