BOSTON (CBS) – One firefighter suffered burns while helping knock down a fire at a home in Charlestown on Friday.

Flames broke out in a single-family home just after 7:15 a.m. on Lyndeboro Street near Middlesex Street.

Two people were displaced in the fire, but no residents were injured.

After suffering minor burns, one firefighter was taken to an area hospital.

Damage is estimated at $100,000.
