NAHANT (CBS) — The Coast Guard says it is calling off the air and water search for the missing Watertown man.

Nolan Gargas, 26, was reported missing early Sunday and authorities have searched for him since Sunday morning.

The Coast Guard told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 that they found no evidence that Gargas entered the water.

Nahant Police say they’ve suspended their ground search but are continuing to assist Watertown police.

A car he was believed to have been driving was found in the East Point area of Nahant, but Watertown Police said they have no confirmation he was in that area.
