Truck Crash Lands On Side, Blocks Traffic On Route 2 In Boxboro

BOXBORO (CBS) - The driver of a semi-tractor-trailer rig was hurt when his truck crashed Thursday on Route 2 in Boxboro.

The truck was loaded with paper heading west when it landed on its side at the at the I-495 interchange.

The driver was rushed to UMass Medical Center in Worcester with what police say is a serious head injury. His name has not been released.

Traffic was blocked on both westbound lanes.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by Massachusetts State Police.
