Massachusetts Man Arrested In Drug Sweep Pleads Guilty

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — A Massachusetts man who was among a half dozen people arrested in a drug sweep last year has pleaded guilty to several charges in New Hampshire.

The U.S. attorney's office says 41-year-old Franklyn Morillo of Haverhill, Massachusetts, pleaded guilty to possession of and conspiracy to distribute oxycodone and cocaine. Authorities say he admitted that he and others were involved in distributing the drugs in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Prosecutors say in addition to the drugs, more than $18,000 in cash was seized from Morillo's home.

Morillo and five others were indicted in September 2015. Three others have pleaded guilty, while the other two are awaiting trial.
