BOSTON (CBS) — Nine people were displaced Sunday morning after a three-alarm fire burned through a multi-family home in Roxbury.

Firefighters responded to the home on Elm Hill Avenue around 3:55 a.m. Sunday.

The Boston Fire Department said the fire moved from the basement of the building to the attic through pipe chases.

One firefighter was injured, and taken to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary to be checked out.

None of the nine people who lived in the building were injured.

The building suffered an estimated $750,000 in damage.

Fire officials were on scene Sunday to find out what caused the blaze.
