New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan Unhurt In Crash

NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) – New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan was inside an unmarked SUV being driven by a State Police officer that was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

The crash took place on High Street in Nashua just after noon.

Nashua Police said a 45-year-old man was driving a black Volvo when he entered the intersection and collided with the passing Chevy Tahoe that was carrying Hassan.

A spokesman for Hassan said she was not injured and continued to her scheduled event.

The driver of the Volvo was determined to be at fault in the crash.

The Volvo was towed from the area while Hassan's SUV suffered less damage and could be driven from the crash scene.

No one was injured in the crash and everyone involved was wearing seatbelts.
