Firefighters Battle Large Blaze In South Boston
BOSTON (CBS) - Firefighters were battling a large blaze in South Boston Monday night.
There was heavy fire when crews arrived at 797 East 4th Street at about 10:25 p.m.
The fire quickly reached four alarms and was knocked down at about 11:00 p.m.
Fire officials say renovations were being done at the three-story brownstone.
The initial damage was estimated at $1,000,000.
No injuries have been reported. It is unclear how the fire started.
