BOSTON (CBS) — Driving ranges are tough to come by in and around the city of Boston, so the grand opening of the range at Brookline Golf Course qualifies as major news (for golfers anyway).

This week on The Golf Club, Hardy talks to head pro Tom Ellis about the course and the new practice area, which includes both natural and artificial turf hitting areas.

Located right off the West Roxbury Parkway in Brookline, the new range is a game and practice changer for both it’s quality and location.

The range opens every morning at 6:30 a.m., except for Mondays when it’s 8 a.m., and it’s open until shortly before sunset.
