Jared Sullinger Happily Tweets That 'Change Is Coming'

BOSTON (CBS) -- Jared Sullinger's days as a Boston Celtic may be numbered, and it's apparently a welcome development for the 24-year-old big man.

On Wednesday, Sullinger tweeted a beaming smiley face while stating that "Change is coming."

The response to the tweet was so loud that Sullinger seemingly sat back and enjoyed the spectacle he had created.

Sullinger is currently a restricted free agent. He and the Celtics did not negotiate a new contract prior to last year's deadline, with Sullinger's agent saying that discussions never even took place. The Celtics -- and team president Danny Ainge -- have not been shy about the inconsistency they've seen from Sullinger in terms of staying in shape. The team ruled him out for the remainder of the 2015 season last February, yet he surprisingly returned before the end of the season, raising many eyebrows about the basis of that injury leave.

Whatever the history may be, the addition of free agent Al Horford likely makes Sullinger more expendable to Ainge, so now we wait to see what exactly that happy change will be for Sullinger.
