Blue Buffalo Issues Recall For Dog Food That Could Contain Mold
WILTON, Conn. (CBS) – Attention dog owners: A popular dog food brand has issued a recall for one of its products that may contain mold.
Blue Buffalo is recalling certain 30-pound bags of Life Protection Formula Fish and Sweet Potato Recipe for Dogs. It has a best by date of April 11, 2017, with UPC code 8596100032.
A recall notice says high moisture levels in the product could lead to mold growth.
Customers should not feed the dog food to their pet and can return the bag to stores for a full refund.
There have not been any reports of dogs getting sick in connection with the recall.
