BOSTON (CBS) — Several cities and towns across the state have canceled their Memorial Day parades Monday in anticipation of the day’s forecasted thunderstorms.

The following is a list of cities and towns with canceled or rescheduled events.

Agawam – Parade canceled

Chelmsford – Parade canceled

Norwood – Memorial Day Services scheduled at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery will instead take place in Memorial Hall at Town Hall. The corner dedication in Memory of Major Mark Welch will take place as planned at 1:00 p.m., corner of Prospect St. and Ash Road, rain or shine

Reading – Parade canceled

South Hadley – Parade canceled

Wellfleet – Memorial Day service moved from the Town Hall Lawn to the Congo Church on Main Street. Service starts at 9:00 a.m.

Westport – In lieu of the parade there will be a ceremony in the Town Hall Annex Gym behind 856 Main Road at 10 a.m.

Wilmington – Parade canceled
