MALDEN (CBS) – Police arrested a Malden man who allegedly stole cable from the set of the Mark Wahlberg’s movie about the Boston Marathon bombings.
David Lyndell, 45, was charged with taking larceny over $250, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and taking the license plate of another after an incident Tuesday around 2 p.m.READ MORE: North End Fitness Center Joins List Of Businesses Requiring Staff, Customers To Be Vaccinated
Police say Lyndell took expensive cable from the “Patriots Day” set and put it in his car on Mason Street.
A security guard told police Lyndell fled the scene after being confronted about the cable.READ MORE: Newbury Street To Have 3 Car-Free Days In August
Officers found Lyndell’s car in the driveway of a home. He was arrested a short time later.

Lyndell is scheduled to be arraigned in Malden District Court.
