3 Arrested After Police Chase Ends In Brockton

BROCKTON (CBS) – Three men were arrested after a police chase started in West Bridgewater and ended in Brockton Monday afternoon.

The police chase began with shots fired near a Cumberland Farms in West Bridgewater and ended on Hill Place in Brockton. Police say the shooting was targeted at a specific vehicle.

Three Brockton men, 25-year-old Craig Dubuisson, 19-year-old Kevin Cardoso and 21-year-old Jorge Monteiro were arrested. A K-9 unit recovered two guns.

"I saw the white car come flying down here turn around and park over there all three of them got out, jumped out," a witness told WBZ.

"Once the two of them sat on the porch out front, and one ran around the back, took off his red hoodie and threw it in the back of the boat," the witness continued. "Then one of the ones that was out front walked around and over by the woodpile and he was farting around with his waistband and that's where they found the other gun."

Police recovered the white sedan they said they were chasing.

The three suspects face several charges including armed assault to murder and possession of a firearm with defaced serial numbers.

Nobody was hurt during the chase and police say the shooting was not random.
