Right Whale Calf Found Dead On Chatham Beach
CHATHAM (CBS) – A right whale calf was found dead on a Chatham beach.
The Center for Coastal Studies said that the calf of a whale named Punctuation washed ashore Thursday afternoon.
Punctuation and the calf were both seen swimming in Cape Cod Bay several times in April.
Researchers captured photos of the pair on April 28, the last picture taken of the calf.
It is not yet clear how the whale died.
