Keolis spokesman Mac Daniel told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 the problems began around 7:30 a.m. Sunday, when Amtrak's dispatching system went down. He said employees were manually pulling track switches for trains.

Amtrak said in a statement Sunday morning that passengers could expect delays between Boston and New Haven due to the issue, and said they were working with the MBTA and Keolis to keep passengers updated on the status of the repairs.
