Steven Tyler Makes Dream Come True For Young Fan

NIAGARA FALLS, Ontario (CBS) – A surprise encounter at a store in Canada turned into the thrill of a lifetime for one Steven Tyler fan.

Anthony Yorfido, a 23-year-old who has Down Syndrome, was at a medical supply store with his mother last week when they ran into Tyler, according to social media posts by Yorfido's family.

The rocker with strong Massachusetts ties hugged Anthony and asked if he was going to his upcoming concert at a local casino. But Anthony and his mother explained that they couldn't get tickets.

"'Oh, don't worry about that, you guys are coming with me. I'll get you backstage passes,'" Tyler told them, according to the Niagara Falls Review.

Not only did Anthony get backstage, he also got to play the maracas on stage with Tyler.

"Steven Tyler did not have to go out of his way to give him tickets but on top of that he was an absolute kindhearted soul in the way he treated my cousin," one of Anthony's cousins wrote on Facebook.
