Missing Holbrook Woman Found Alive In Connecticut

HOLBROOK (CBS) -- A mother missing since Monday has been found alive in Waterford, Connecticut.

Holbrook Police confirmed to WBZ-TV that Judith Sales was found alive in Connecticut and is now with authorities.

Waterford Police said they were contacted by Massachusetts State Police about Sales. Waterford Police said callers reported the vehicle Sales was driving in was in the area of Route 85 in Waterford.

They responded to find Sales in her car in the parking lot of the Crystal Mall. Waterford Police said she was in good health, but requested to go to the hospital.

Sales had been missing since Monday, when she left her home around 3 p.m. to pick up her son from daycare. Police say she never arrived.

As he got into his car to be reunited with his wife, Sales' husband said "I'm glad."

"No criminal liability. We're not sure what the real issue is," Holbrook Police Chief William Smith said. "But she's down there with the proper authorities and her husband's en route. We're just glad that everything worked out."
