'Poultry In Pursuit': Turkey Chases Natick Police Cruiser

NATICK (CBS) – A turkey has ruffled the feathers of the Natick Police Department after chasing a police cruiser while it pulled out of a parking lot.

The Natick Police Department posted a video of an officer's encounter with the bird.

As the officer backs out of a parking space, the turkey walks alongside the vehicle, getting a close look at the hubcaps.

When the cruiser begins to drive away, the turkey picks up speed and the pursuit is on.

In the comments section of their Facebook post, police shared a picture from earlier in the week when the turkey perched itself atop a traffic light.

"Each cruiser is being equipped with a gravy air freshener to help keep him away," Natick Police wrote.

Poultry in Pursuit. Our Downtown Dinde has taken a fascination with looking at himself in our hubcaps. Each cruiser is being equipped with a gravy air freshener to help keep him away.
