BOSTON (CBS) — The wait is almost over for the rest of us, but Rich Shertenlieb finagled his way into a screening of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Tuesday morning.

To hold us over until the movie opens for everyone Thursday night, Rich gave his spoiler-free review of the highly-anticipated installment on Wednesday morning.

For those worried that this new trilogy may follow the path of those dreadful prequels, Rich says fear not.

“For two hours and 10 minutes I didn’t move. By the time it was done I don’t think my mouth closed the entire time. It was a religious experience,” he said.

“J.J. Abrams nailed it. He absolutely nailed this movie,” said Rich. “J.J. Abrams remembered what made the original Star Wars films great.”
