
BOSTON (CBS) — A man was found seriously hurt and unconscious at a South End bus stop late Thursday night after apparently being assaulted, Boston Police said.
Officers were called to the East Lenox and Washington streets area around 11:30 p.m. They found the man laying next to a bench at the Silver Line bus stop, and it appeared he was suffering from a head injury, police say.

He was rushed by ambulance to Boston Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. His current condition is unknown.
Witnesses told police they saw a woman going through the man’s pockets while they were on the bus. They saw her run through Ramsay Park toward Shawmut Avenue, police said.

As of Friday morning, no arrests had been made.
