Puppies Stolen From Holliston Kennel Found
HOLLISTON (CBS) -- Three puppies that were stolen from a Holliston kennel on Halloween have been found safe in Plainville on Monday, police say.
The puppies were stolen from Pik-A-Pup Kennel on Concord Street on Saturday, according to a police press statement. The white female boxer, white male boxer, and yellow female Labrador retriever, each worth more than $1,000, were found at a Plainville home after police received an anonymous tip.
The puppies have been returned to the kennel, police say. On the Pik-A-Pup Facebook page, they said the puppies appeared "a bit skinny but they look great otherwise."
The kennel's owners added that they are thankful to the community for spreading the word about the thefts and "helping us find out babies."
One suspect has been questioned, police said, and at least one person will be facing burglary and larceny charges. Investigators plan to release more details soon.
