Daily Talker: Hasty Decision?

It appears Harvard's Hasty Pudding troupe will stay an all-male ensemble.

This weekend a group of women had auditioned for the Hasty Pudding Theatricals hoping to get a shot at participating in the annual all-male drag show.

Shortly after they auditioned, two of the women told the Globe they received emails, saying they would not be given a callback.

The cast has been all men since 1844.

Before this weekend's auditions, the troupe said in a statement that the all-male cast is an artistic decision. The did not rule out adding female performers in the future.
