Man Charged After Nashua, NH, Crash Kills Motorcyclist
NASHUA, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire man was arrested Sunday on drunk driving charges following a fatal crash.
Romivel Cruz, 27, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony, following a crash Sunday night on West Hollis Street involving a car and a motorcycle.
Police found the driver of the motorcycle was seriously injured. The driver was transported to an area hospital, but did not survive.
Officers said Cruz showed signs of impairment at the scene and was arrested.
Cruz is being held on $50,000 bail until his arraignment on Tuesday.
The charges against Cruz carry possible sentence of up to seven years in jail.
