Man Dies After Carbon Monoxide Incident In Sagamore

SAGAMORE (CBS) – A 62-year-old man died Wednesday in a carbon monoxide incident in Sagamore.

Police were called to the offices of RDA Model Homes on Bluff Road around 8:30 p.m. and found the man unconscious and carbon monoxide alarms activated.

The man was rushed to the hospital but he died. His name has not been released.

It's not clear how long he was in the building before he was found.

The source is the leak is still not known.

The police officer who responded to the call was also taken to the hospital for evaluation and released. He was the only one to enter the building.
