Top 5 Wildest Sports Callers Of The Week: April 6th-April 10th

The Top 5 Sports Callers of the week is a weekly installment from CBS Local Sports that will bring you the wildest callers from across the nation.

Number 5: In this week’s episode we start with Tom from Pittsburgh who called in to the Starkey and Mueller show on 93.7 The Fan to give his reasons why he wants the Penguins to miss the playoffs this year.

Number 4: Checking in at four is Patrick from Alpharetta, Georgia who hopped on with Dukes and Bell in Atlanta on 92.9 The Game to discuss the Braves. While he understands they need to start the rebuilding process, he feels bad for his 9-year-old son who has had to watch some of his favorite players leave.

Number 3: The number three caller this week was Anthony in Queens who joined Boomer and Carton on WFAN in New York to revive one of Carton's old slogans in advance of the New York Mets season.

Number 2: The two spot goes to Joe in Mayfair joining Mike and Ike on 94.1 WIP with his defense of Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon. He's tired of athletes being fake.

Number 1: Finally, the top spot is Artie from Brooklyn who called in to Mike Francesa on WFAN in New York because he's frustrated with how the Mets are handling their line-up card.
