Former Bridgewater State Day Care Director Arrested

BRIDGEWATER (CBS) – The former director of Bridgewater State University's day care center has been arrested.

Judith Ritacco is now charged with reckless child endangerment, witness intimidation and misleading investigators.

Police say she never contacted authorities when other workers brought up concerns that 21-year-old Kyle Loughlin had been inappropriately touching children at the center.

Loughlin was a student worker at the day care center and is charged with two counts of child rape. He is being held without bail.
