BOSTON (CBS) – Officer John Moynihan, who was shot in the face during a traffic stop in Roxbury, has been upgraded to stable condition after undergoing surgery to remove the bullet. According to reports, Angelo West continued to fire on officers after shooting Moynihan in the face, until he was eventually gunned down and killed by the police. Despite the fact that West shot Moynihan point blank, and continued to fire at officers after leaving his vehicle, some members of Black Lives Matter still protested the shooting, and even held a meeting for “People of Color ONLY,” according to their social media accounts. Reverend Eugene Rivers joins Dan in studio to talk about this disturbing chain of events, community reactions, and the relationship between civilians and the police.
