Three Injured In Three-Vehicle Crash In Marlborough

MARLBOROUGH (CBS) -- Three people were injured Thursday morning in a three-car crash on I-290 eastbound in Marlboro.

According to State Police, a 1998 Subaru Forester slammed into the back of a tractor-trailer that was stopped in traffic. A 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup then struck the Subaru from behind.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. The driver and passenger of the Subaru were seriously injured and were transported by helicopter to UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester.

The driver of the Chevrolet pickup was transported to Marlborough Hospital with minor injuries, according to State Police.
