Threat Grounds JetBlue Flight At Logan Airport

BOSTON (CBS) – A JetBlue flight from Logan Airport was canceled Monday night after the airline received a threat to the plane's security.

State Police say Flight 321 to Palm Beach was carrying approximately 135 passengers when it returned to the gate shortly after 9 p.m.

The sweep of the plane and nearly 100 pieces of luggage revealed nothing hazardous.

"Information known by law enforcement prior to the search suggested the threat was not credible," State Police said. "The aircraft was nonetheless carefully examined per security protocols."

The flight was canceled and the passengers will be re-booked by the airline.
