MILTON (CBS) — Police are investigating a reported sexual assault on Curry College campus.

A female student reported to the college last Wednesday that she had been assaulted by a male student on December 4. College officials said the victim knew her attacker.

The school notified students of the incident and is working with Milton Police to investigate.

A spokesperson for Curry College told WBZ-TV that the school conducts sexual assault prevention programs with its students.

“The safety of our community is a fundamental priority, and sexual assault will not be tolerated by the College in any form,” a spokesperson said in a written statement.

This is fourth reported sexual assault on the campus this year.
