Protesters March Through Downtown Boston
BOSTON (CBS) -- Dozens of demonstrators took to the streets Saturday for another day of protests, this time through the streets of downtown Boston.
Saturday's crowd was much smaller compared to previous days' protests, but their voices are strong and their message was simple.
"Now is the time and enough is enough," protester Roxkna Rivera said.
Many protesters told WBZ-TV's Paul Burton they want justice in the wake of grand jury decisions not to indict two white police officers for the deaths of unarmed black men in Missouri and New York.
"Folks should not be treated differently because the color of their skin," Rivera said.
Saturday morning in Roxbury, Mayor Marty Walsh took part in a My Brother's Keeper rally at the Timilty School.
The mayor says for the most part he's pleased with the way protest have been taking place in the city.
"It's free speech and we can't stop people from expressing themselves. I think that they need to do it in respectful and peaceful manor and be cognizant of cars and public," Walsh said.
