Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: Injury Concerns For Week 4 And Beyond

BOSTON (CBS) - Week 3 is in the books, but not without some injuries that could make or break your fantasy season.

We saw Jamaal Charles, Robert Griffin III and others go down in Week 2 and miss time in Week 3, with players like as Knile Davis and Kirk Cousins filling in admirably in their absence, so don't fret because there's always options.

Every night on 98.5 The Sports Hub's The Adam Jones Show, Rich Keefe breaks it all down on the Fantasy Brief.

"Danny Woodhead, who is an especially nice player to have in a PPR format, is done for the season. He broke his leg on Sunday in Buffalo. The Chargers, who are already down Ryan Mathews, and now Danny Woodhead. Donald Brown got the ball 30 times on Sunday, just didn't do much with it. He now, even more so, will get the attention there."

Week 3 also saw a pair of young tight ends get injured, starting with Dennis Pitta.

"Ravens tight end Dennis Pitta, I know a lot of people thought he'd have a bounce back year off of a hip injury, he goes down with another hip injury on Sunday. His season is done. Owen Daniels had a couple of touchdowns a week ago, so it looks like he's a good insurance policy for Baltimore."

The Vikings just can't catch a break. Adrian Peterson is out indefinitely, Matt Cassel left Sunday's game in New Orleans with a broken foot, and now Kyle Rudolph is sidelined.

"Sports hernia for Rudolph. He's out six weeks. I checked, and the Minnesota bye week is Week 10. I don't even think it would be bad to release him altogether. If you have an IR spot that's great, but if not I would just dump Rudolph because you're only gonna get him for a couple of games."
