Missing Canton Girl Found Safe

CANTON (CBS) – Police in Canton say a 15-year-old girl that went missing Wednesday afternoon has been found safe.

The Canton Police Department posted on its Facebook page that Lajanae Russell went missing between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. on September 17 when she left her house in the York Street and Indian Lane area of Canton.

Police said they believe Russell left her home by choice.

On Thursday night, police announced that she was located and is safe. No other information about where she was located has been released.
