Would You Rather: Middlebrooks, Cecchini Or Holt At Third Next Season?
BOSTON (CBS) -- It was another "Would You Rather Wednesday" on the Game of Jones!
98.5 The Sports Hub's Adam Jones was given the following choices by Rich Keefe. Play along below:
- Who would you rather have on the Patriots: Jimmy Garoppolo or Brian Hoyer?
"I'd rather have Garoppolo," said Jones. "To me, you know what Hoyer is and I don't think there is a very high ceiling there... I'd rather have the higher ceiling and younger player, so that's why I'd go with Garoppolo."
- Who would you rather have at third base next season: Will Middlebrooks, Garin Cecchini or Brock Holt?
"I think I'm going to go Middlebrooks. Ceccini isn't hitting at Triple-A and Holt is a utility guy to me. If those are my only three options and i have to pick one of them, I go with Middlebrooks. I still think he has legit power at the MLB level. I just hope maybe he can recapture what he had his rookie year."
- Who would you rather have on the Patriots: Jeremy Maclin or LeSean McCoy?
"I would go Shady. I think running backs are de-emphasized, but McCoy is a weapon in the passing game. He is truly one of the best backs in the NFL; not better than Peterson or Charles, but he's right there with those guys," said Jones. "We all fawn over Shane Vereen -- could you imagine what LeSean McCoy would be in this offense?"
- Who would you rather have start Week 1: Michael Vick or Geno Smith?
"I think I'd go Vick, part of the reason being that the Jets have been so bad for so long that you can't wait around for Geno Smith," explained Jones. "Start Vick and see if you can catch something like what Vick did in Philadelphia to start the season. He probably wont make it through the entire season, so go to Geno Smith at that point. I'd go the veteran right now, because that defense for the Jets is going to be damn good again."
- Would you rather: Megan Fox or Zoe Saldana?
"I would go Megan Fox. I know she doesn't have the fastball she had a few years ago when she was at the top of her game. When she was in Transformers, that was the peak of Megan Fox," said Jones. "I wasn't sure who this Zoe Saldana chick even was, and I'm going Megan Fox."
