Felger: Jozy Altidore Is Milan Lucic

BOSTON (CBS) - During Monday's soccer minute, Michael Felger got us prepped for the World Cup and what to expect from Team USA. Well, expect to be frustrated by Jozy Altidore.

"You're going to watch these games. You're going to get interested in them, as most people do. You're gonna find yourself rooting for the U.S. and you're going to find yourself frustrated with Jozy Altidore. Good player, but let me give you a comparison you can wrap your head around: Milan Lucic. Bull in a China shop. He's big, physical, imposing. You look at him and you say this guy should dominate. He should just physically exert his will on people..."

"What does he take like 30 seconds to kick it?" Mazz joked.

"Yup. Yup. Instead of hands of stone he has feet of boulders. He's bigger than most everybody else. He's fast, strong and all that stuff. If he had finishing touch, if he had softer feet and could finish, the guy would be an unstoppable force. But he doesn't score. He can't score."

Prior to Saturday's breakout, two goal effort, Altidore was held without a goal for 27 matches between his time spent with the USMNT and Sunderland of the Premier League.

"So he is like Lucic?" Mazz joked.

"He's exactly like Lucic! That's what I'm telling you. You're gonna watch these games banging your head against the wall because this guy can't score. There's talent around him. He's gonna have opportunities.  But he just can't score," said Felger.
