VIDEO: Volunteering At The Boston Marathon Is A 'Family Tradition'

Whenever I see somebody wearing a jacket I always ask, "do you run or do you volunteer?"

We always end up volunteering at Hopkinton on race day.

I like to give them encouragement that they've trained so hard to get here; that we admire what they're doing.

A lot of times it's people from different countries, so that's when I really like to say, "Hey, welcome to Boston."

For us it's a family thing. It's just another family tradition.
