CAMBRIDGE (CBS) – Firefighters in Cambridge battled a fire at the top of a high rise building on Friday.

The initial call came in just before noon for a building at One Main Street in Kendall Square.

According to officials, a paid detail officer in the area spotted smoke and alerted the fire department.

The building was evacuated, and heavy smoke could be seen coming from the roof.

The view from SkyEye showed several firefighters had made their way to the roof and quickly knocked down the flames.

There were no reports of any injuries. The cause was under investigation.
