Kids Discuss Favorite Presidents At JFK Library

WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens asked some of the children about their favorite presidents.

John F. Kennedy was a crowd favorite. Six-year-old Lucas said JFK is his favorite because "he wanted to be the first man on the moon."

Kyle, 9, picked him because JFK fought in a war.

And 7-year-old Austin said he chose him "because my school is named after him."

Alex, 8, said his favorite is Abraham Lincoln "because he freed the slaves."

Another child picked Lincoln for a slightly different reason- he was tall and wore a cool hat.

Some children said their favorites are more recent presidents.

For example, 6-year-old Jack chose "Borrokid Obama because he has a dog named Bo."
