Gresh & Zo didn’t spend much time on it, but on Thursday afternoon they weighed in on Jonny Gomes’ postgame interview with Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.

In case you missed it, here it is below:

Andy Gresh gave his thoughts on Jonny Gomes’ antics in general, and ultimately felt like he was being selfish in this instance.

“I thought Jonny Gomes was doing a lot of that stuff under the auspice of team…and then he tells him [Rosenthal] what question to ask so he can work his ‘WAR’ line in there? If this was a Yankee, or LeBron everybody HAMMERS them,” said Gresh.

Zo didn’t take it as far as Gresh, but he felt like Rosenthal would’ve handled the interview fine without Gomes instructing him on the first question. Producer Jim Louth offered his thoughts as well, and felt like Daniel Nava (who platooned the same outfield position) probably didn’t appreciate Gomes emphasizing the team was 10-1 with him starting in the postseason lineup.

Some of the listeners didn’t appreciate Gresh & Zo’s line of thinking, so they texted and called in to voice their dismay, listen to it below:
