North Attleboro Police Defend Use Of Force Caught On Video

NORTH ATTLEBORO (CBS) -- Police are defending their use of force against a man in North Attleboro.

A bystander shot a video Sunday as a police officer responded to a domestic disturbance call.  The video was later posted on YouTube and then taken down.

A woman told officers her ex-boyfriend tried to strangle her.

Police say the man laughed when they tried to arrest him and raised his fists.

According to police, the man said: "There are just two of you? You better call for back up."

Police managed to subdue him and take him into custody.

He is being held on $100,000 bail.

North Attleboro Police say the altercation is under investigation.
