Deutsche Bank Championship To Honor, Raise Money For Marathon Bombing Victims

NORTON (CBS) – The Deutsche Bank Championship will be doing its best to honor and show support for the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings throughout the week-long tournament.

Organizers say they will be raising money for the One Fund during the tournament. PGA pros, caddies, sponsors, and staffers will all wear blue and gold ribbons throughout the week.

They have also declared Monday, September 2, the final day of the 2013 tournament to be "Boston Strong" day, and are encouraging spectators to wear blue and gold in a show of support. Victims and families will be invited to attend that day.

Boston Strong bracelets will be sold for $3 each, with all proceeds going to the One Fund.
