Cheap Trick & Scott Brown - Surrender - Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom 8/25/13 by Fastlane Productions on YouTube

BOSTON (AP) — Former U.S. Sen. Scott Brown says he's fulfilled one of his lifelong dreams by performing live with the band Cheap Trick.

Brown played along with the band during an appearance at the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on Sunday.

Brown, sporting an American flag shirt, can be seen playing a bright red guitar in a video posted on YouTube during a rendition of the band's hit song "Surrender."

Brown said in a tweet that the experience fulfilled one of his "bucket list items."

The Massachusetts Republican has said he's "exploring a possible run" for president in 2016, but has ruled out a campaign for Massachusetts governor next year.

Brown won a 2010 special election to fill the unexpired term of the late Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy. He lost in 2012 to Democrat Elizabeth Warren.
